Credit card criteria

Spend and credit criteria, fees and charges, terms and conditions apply. Individuals must be 18+. Offers available to new customers only and is not available with any other offer.

A credit check is performed each time you apply for a credit card. Credit reporting bodies make a record of these enquiries and this information may be used and disclosed for the purposes of assessing your credit worthiness, including your credit score and credit rating. For example, making multiple credit applications over a short period of time could have a negative effect on your credit score, as this may reduce your chances of approval.

1You will receive 50,000 Bonus Flybuys Points when you apply for a Coles Rewards Mastercard by 3 March 2025​, are approved and then spend $3,000 or more on eligible retail purchases (excluding Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, Special Promotions, purchases of foreign currency and travellers cheques, transactions made in operating a business, bank fees and charges such as interest and ATM charges, refunds and chargebacks) in the first 3 months of the Account approval date (spend period). Please note, purchases must be processed and charged to your account within the spend period. You will receive the Bonus Flybuys Points within 4 weeks of meeting the required $3,000 spend, credited to the Flybuys Membership Account linked to your Coles Mastercard. Include your Flybuys number on your application to receive this offer. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Your Coles Mastercard needs to be in good standing (for example – your account is not in default, suspended or closed) for the Bonus Flybuys Points to be awarded. 7The Interest Free Period applies to Retail Purchases, interest, fees and charges when you pay your full Closing Balance from your last statement by the Payment Due Date (excluding any Fixed Payment Option balance which isn’t due for payment by that Payment Due Date). No Interest Free Period is available on Cash Advances or Balance Transfers. Please note, you will be charged interest on Retail Purchases while you have a Balance Transfer.

Redeeming and earning Flybuys Points

+An eligible purchase is an Eligible Transaction as defined in the Coles Mastercard Rewards Terms and Conditions found at www.coles.com.au/mastercard-important-information and means any purchase excluding (but not limited to) Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, Special Promotions, BPAY payments, purchases of foreign currency and travellers cheques, transactions made in operating a business, bank fees and charges such as interest and ATM charges, transactions made using Flybuys Points and government related transactions. The number of Flybuys Points awarded is calculated by reference to the Australian dollar amount of the transaction. Flybuys Points awarded for using a Coles Mastercard linked to your Flybuys Membership Account are in addition to Flybuys points awarded by Flybuys partners and will be allocated by Flybuys in accordance with the Flybuys terms and conditions found at flybuys.com.au.

ᗮWhen you scan your Flybuys barcode you will collect 1 Flybuys point per $1 spent at Coles, excluding purchases of all gift cards, iTunes cards, charitable donations, tobacco and tobacco-related products and Coles Online delivery fees. This point is independent of your Coles Mastercard. Standard Flybuys terms and conditions apply and can be found at flybuys.com.au.

^Flybuys dollars Redemption: Flybuys points can be converted to Flybuys Dollars in multiples of 2,000 points only. Every 2,000 points equates to $10 Flybuys Dollars. Flybuys Dollars may be used in-store only at Coles Supermarkets, Coles Express, First Choice Liquor Market, Kmart, Liquorland, Officeworks, Target and mycar. Physical Flybuys card must be presented at checkout. Flybuys points and Flybuys Dollars have no cash or monetary value.
